Highest Yoga Tantra is a profound method for attaining enlightenment in this very life, based on the practices of Heruka and Vajrayogini.

Following the Summer Festival 2026, this weekend retreat, guided by Gen Kelsang Norbu and Gen Kelsang Tabkay, will be a special opportunity to deepen our understanding of these teachings and strengthen our experience of the Tantric path to enlightenment.

On this special retreat you will learn everything you need for a qualified Tantric practice, the supreme quick path to enlightenment, and in this way begin getting to know your pure self.

Gen Norbu and Gen Tabkay will teach and guide meditations on the condensed Vajrayogini self-generation sadhana, The Blissful Path. In addition, they will guide how to integrate Highest Yoga Tantra into the daily practice of Heart Jewel and how to easily and joyfully maintain the Highest Yoga Tantra commitments in daily life so that we can comfortably make progress on the quick path.

"The emptiness that is explained in Buddha’s Sutra teachings,
And the great bliss that is explained in Buddha’s Tantric teachings –
The union of these two is the very essence of Buddha’s eighty-four thousand teachings.
May the doctrine of Conqueror Losang Dragpa flourish for evermore."
- Gungtang Rinpoche, Prayer for the Flourishing of the Doctrine of Je Tsongkhapa

*This retreat is for those who have previously received the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments of Heruka and Vajrayogini.
