About the event

Location: 907 Barra Row, Suite 202, Davidson, NC 28036 (2nd floor, parking in back)

All the happiness there is in this world arises from wishing others to be happy.” - Shantideva (AD 687-763), quoted in How to Transform Your Life, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Nobody wants to be a selfish person, and we all admire people who care more about others than themselves. However, it usually feels like putting ourself first is the way to make ourself happy. In truth, people who love others are truly happy, whereas people who only care about themselves are truly miserable.

In these introductory classes, Fariba will focus on simple methods for making our love more pure and less self-centered.
