“Tsongkhapa, crown ornament of the scholars of the Land of the Snows,
You are Avalokiteshvara, the treasury of unobservable compassion,
Manjushri, the supreme stainless wisdom,
And Vajrapani, the destroyer of the hosts of maras.” - Migtsema prayer
Looking to progress in your meditation practice? Come along to our day retreat, learn about and engage in Heart Jewel, the essential practices of Kadampa Buddhism. Je Tsongkhapa is one of our pivotal lineage Gurus from about 600 years ago in Tibet who clarified exactly how to begin, make progress along and complete the path to enlightenment. Guru yoga is a very blessed practice through which we connect with and receive the transformational energy of all the Buddhas through our spiritual teacher.
Anyone who engages sincerely in this practice will definitely increase their compassion, wisdom and spiritual power. Following the International Kadampa Fall Festival in Spain, special guest teacher Gen Jindak will teach and guide these meditations here in Charlotte with us. This retreat is a great way to gain a clear understanding and experience of how this practice helps us, and the confidence to progress in our daily practice with Heart Jewel prayers.
