About the event
Our beloved Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Tilopa, is retiring after 20 years of service to the people of North Carolina. Although it is a bittersweet goodbye, we are so happy that Gen Tilopa will be headed to beautiful KMC Florida in Sarasota to enjoy rest and retreat. We look forward to welcoming and meeting our new Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Norbu. Gen Norbu has been the Resident Teacher at KMC Ft. Lauderdale in Florida for the past 12 years, and we are so happy to welcome him to Charlotte! This vegetarian BBQ and potluck is a great way for us as a community to spend time with both teachers.
*Please note, you are welcome to join us for Gen Tilopa's course on compassion from 10am-1pm before the potluck!
