Powa

We perform this practice once a month on behalf of those who have recently died, traditionally within forty-nine days of their death. In conjunction with brief Buddhist ritual practices we arrange beautiful offerings such as candles and flowers on behalf of those who have passed. Feel free to bring a vegetarian food offering or flowers. Gen Kelsang Norbu, our Resident Teacher, will give a short talk at the beginning of these special prayers. (1 hour)
