About the event

Since inner peace is the source of all happiness, we can see how important meditation is.” - The New Meditation Handbook, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Do you meditate regularly, or have you at least tried to meditate? More and more people are realizing that meditation is essential for our peace and happiness. Starting a daily meditation practice doesn’t have to be difficult, and meditating doesn’t have to take a long time. (In fact, less might be more, so to speak, in the beginning).

In these classes, Gen Norbu will introduce the basics of a sustainable and fruitful meditation practice. Each class will include at least one guided breathing meditation for 10-15 minutes, teachings, and at least one guided meditation on the teachings. Topics will include how to start a daily meditation practice, as well as how to improve and progress in meditation practice. Start at the beginning of the series if you can, but if you miss the beginning then start when you are able.
