“Buddha taught many different methods to purify non virtuous actions, downfalls and broken commitments but the supreme method is the practice of meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva. This practice is the scientific method to purify our mind and to transform our mind from an impure mind into a pure mind using Tantric technology.” - The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
For generations, Buddhist practitioners have used the meditation and recitation of Buddha Vajrasattva - a very powerful method to purify negative karma using four special meditations. This retreat will also use the traditional Kadampa Buddhist prayers called Offering to the Spiritual Guide.
Please note: Most sessions of this retreat will be unguided, however all levels of students are welcome to attend. New students are especially encouraged to attend the Vajrasattva Empowerment on Friday-Saturday, November 13-14. This retreat provides an opportunity to learn and gain deep experience of this important spiritual practice.
