Meditation is a powerful method to increase the degree of inner peace and authentic happiness in our life. It is also a way of pacifying our bad habits and painful states of mind that hold us back from living the life we want. Meditation apps can only take us so far, if you are interested in going deeper and getting more powerful results, a teacher and community are the best way of getting started or taking your practice to the next level.
In this introductory retreat, Buddhist monk Kelsang Tabkay will give teachings and guide meditations to learn how to get started, and make authentic progress in our practice of meditation.
“If we train in meditation, our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will experience a purer and purer form of happiness.” - Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, How to Transform Your Life
