“Going for refuge signifies our determination to turn away from the endless cycle of confusion and dissatisfaction that has marked our life and towards a saner, more wholesome way of living.” - Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

In Buddhist meditation, we learn how to train our mind and make it clear and peaceful in general, but we also learn how to meditate on specific, virtuous states of mind that are essential stages of the path to enlightenment.

In this retreat, we will focus on turning away from negative thoughts that take us in the wrong direction, and developing confidence in our own potential to become the person we want to be.
