“Since inner peace is the source of all happiness, we can see how important meditation is.” - Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, The New Meditation Handbook
How can we calm the mind and make it clear, reduce our distractions and make our mind more positive? We can calm the mind and make it clear using simple breathing meditation any time. We can reduce our distractions by training in simple breathing meditation, and we can make our mind more positive by then progressing to analytical and placement meditation on the stages of the path to enlightenment. The first meditation on the stages of the path to enlightenment is “Our Precious Human Life”.
In this introductory retreat, Sean will introduce simple breathing meditation and how to train in it. Analytical and placement meditation will also be introduced, and applied to the first stage of the path to enlightenment, “Our Precious Human Life”.
