For 18 years, Kadampa Meditation Center North Carolina has been helping our community find true inner peace and happiness.

Thanks to the generosity of our members, volunteers and benefactors, KMC NC has flourished, providing practical refuge and a path to real peace to the people of Charlotte and the surrounding area. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, we rely on our members and kind benefactors for financial support.

Our end-of-year campaign is a special opportunity to help build a fully functioning kitchen in the upstairs community area for Sangha gatherings. With a Community Kitchen we would be able to provide meals and more during weekend retreats, before/after classes and special events. The kitchen would be spacious and include a sitting area where our community could sit and relax with coffee or tea. Also, it would create an area for a “World Peace Cafe” during larger gatherings such as Southern Dharma Celebration where we are able to serve our regional Sangha.

We deeply appreciate any financial support you may be able to contribute to our campaign for the community kitchen. The expenses to create this special space would be around 30k.  All donations are 100% tax deductible. We rely on the kindness of our community, and hope that you will consider supporting this beneficial addition to the center where all are welcome to gather and enjoy food and friendship.

On behalf of the management team, we thank you for your ongoing support. Your membership and attendance at classes, retreats and special events – as well as your gifts of time, talent, resources and prayers – have made it possible for KMC NC to flourish. We will continue to work to benefit others through spreading Dharma teachings to our community and surrounding areas.

With love and gratitude,

Robyn Glancy, Administrative Director
